Examinations
For the music lessons that I teach I work with the following examination boards.
L.C.M (London College of Music).
Within the Keyboard, Singing and Music Theatre syllabus I teach from beginner right through to Grade 8 and Diploma Level.
The qualifications are fully accredited as an awarding body by the following:
- Qualifications & Curriculum Authority (QCA).
- Department for Education & Skills (Dfes)
- London College of Music Grades 6 to 8 in practical or theory qualify for UCAS points.
- Qualifications supported by the university quality assurance system.
A.B.R.S.M (Associated Board Royal School of Music).
I use this board for Piano examinations. I teach from beginner right through to Grade 8.
To take practical examinations via A.B.R.S.M above Grade 5, you are required to pass Grade 5 Music Theory.
The qualifications are fully accredited as an awarding body by the following:
- Qualifications & Curriculum Authority (QCA).
- Associated Board Grades 6 to 8 now qualify for UCAS points.
O.C.R (Oxford Cambridge & RSA Examinations)
